^{I recently randomly stumbled upon a series of photographs on lens culture.
The series is called Before and After Death.

"A stunning series of portraits of people — shortly before and just after they die — is touring Europe now, and tackling one of the biggest remaining taboos in Western societies. Photos by Walter Schels, text by Beate Lakotta."

I was quite moved by the concept even though this can perceived as quite shocking and "politically incorrect".
