Poland
After more than two weeks travelling, I am finally back in Grenoble.
First of all, I went to Poland to visit Aushwitz with 80 other French students, in order to organise some kind of event about the Holocaust afterwards (btw James, I'm still waiting for your photos. ;) ). It was a very interesting experience, quite hard though. The most shocking thing was the contrast between the morbid and dramatic atmosphere, end the people there: taking photos of themselves in front of a train, a wall, family pictures, names written on the cell walls, people joking and a bunch of Asian people dressed in a quite exentric way. Now, thinking about it, that's what I could have chosen as a subject for the exhibition. Too bad, too late. Plus pretty much all of my pictures on film turned out over-exposed as the lense I'm using seems to be fucked up. Yes Bernhard, I know, this was a pretty stupid initiative. :p
Apart from that, I dunno if you guys have ever been to Poland, Krakow is amazing: you can eat and get drunk for SO cheap. We all went to a night club, and it cost me 15€ to drink all night. And not crap, honey/cherry flavoured vodka. Yay.

Austria
After that, I went to Vienna - Austria for a few days. Really great city I have to say. In fact, the people there made it a lot cooler. Thank you ~radiohat, ~kinderschokolade, ~natashalyonne, ~zort (yes, for the print ;) ). And the londoners: ~celebrity, ~JamesBardolph, `tanya-n, `CathieHeart.
We had a lot of fun, we even went to Bratislava - Slovakia for a day, it was okay, buit we didn't get to see the fun part of the city I guess. Ha well, we did get to eat some banana and chocolate flavour gum ==> :puke:

Paris
Then ==> Paris. Worked a few days on a movie set, ate a lot, then went to Disneyland with my boyfriend, and really enjoyed it. Yeah shame on me, it's so childish but so cool. :giggle:
I even experienced the feeling of being in a zoo while eating a kebap sitting next to "la Seine" with `Gonzale. Yes, people take pictures of you, as if you're part of tha landscape.

Home
And then yes... I finally got home a few days ago. Feels good to sleep in my own bed. But I'm leaving again on Sunday, going to Paris to carry out a work placement for 3 months. Quite a lot of people to meet there, it should be great fun (yeah, and work too). :D Also, having my own place for a while is going to be quite a relief.

That's all, folks.
How's it going on your side of the world?

:salute:

Haha it's a shame that the bubblegum was one of the highlights of Bratislava, although you really should have come into the sex shop.

And you call it 'kebap' like the Austrians? Shame on you!

:aww:

Well in France, we call it kebab, the Austrians and Canadians call it kebap, and the Turkish call it something else (something like kebop lol)! Lawl! I'm confused.
And yeah that gum so deliciously awful haha. However, you're right, I should've come into the sexshop with you girls. I was just staying with James, chatting, didn't really think about it. :(
It was so great meeting you Tanya, after having heard all those good things about you from James ^^. Hope to meet you again soon, for some crazy fun. :p

It was lovely meeting you too! :aww: You're definitely one crazy and cool chick. Too bad the trip wasn't longer :( I'm glad you had a good time though and yes, I definitely hope to see you again soon :)

I threw it away as soon as I got home but don't worry, I'm sure I can find something equally delicious haha
I think I saw from Sev's blog that you took some polaroid shots - so you managed to find some film there in the end?
